This page is no longer maintained, buy or search for Meakin pottery here.
Alfred was the brother of James and George Meakin (See J & G Meakin) and founded the pottery in 1874. He ran a very successful business mass producing tableware for both the domestic market, and the growing export market of the 40's and 50's. In 1976 the pottery merged with Myott, Son and Co, who were later bought by the Churchill Group in 1991.
The objective of this gallery is to display photographs of the many discontinued designs issued by the Alfred Meakin Pottery. These patterns will include discontinued tableware, collectibles and giftware. We hope that this will serve as a useful point of reference for those people trying to identify their obsolete dinner sets, tea services and collectables.
Should you see a flashing lightbulb like the one below, then there is a special offer on the Alfred Meakin discontinued design you are viewing. Clicking on the lightbulb will take you directly to our Special Offers page.
