British Home Stores, or BHS, are one of the UKs leading high street retailers. Through the years they have sold many popular tableware designs, manufactuered by a variety of potteries, from Hornsea to Royal Doulton. The most well known design being Priory, famous for being the tea service of choice of the chimps in the PG Tips television adverts!
The objective of this gallery is to display photographs of the many discontinued designs issued by British Home Stores. These designs will include retired tableware, collectibles and giftware. We hope that this will serve as a useful point of reference for those people trying to identify their retired dinner sets, tea services and collectables.
Should you see a flashing lightbulb like the one below, then there is a special offer on the BHS design you are viewing. Clicking on the lightbulb will take you directly to our Special Offers page.
Development of these pages is on ongoing project so keep checking back.
