J & G Meakin Discontinued Crockery Gallery

This page is no longer maintained, buy or search for Meakin pottery here.

J & G Meakin was founded in 1851 by James Meakin, who was succeeded in the same year by his sons James and George.

They became part of the Wedgwood Group in 1970, but retained their name until 1980 when they became Creative Tableware. In 1991 they fell under the Johnson Bros banner who now own the pattern rights, still under the overall ownership of Wedgwood.

The objective of this gallery is to display photographs of the many discontinued designs issued under the J & G Meakin label. These patterns will include discontinued tableware, collectibles and giftware. We hope that this will serve as a useful point of reference for those people trying to identify their obsolete dinner sets, tea services and collectables.

Should you see a flashing lightbulb like the one below, then there is a special offer on the J & G Meakin discontinued design you are viewing. Clicking on the lightbulb will take you directly to our Special Offers page.
